OTDE 8310 OT Skills in Adults & Elderly
This course will prepare students to apply hands-on skills needed for entry-level OT practice with adults, the elderly, and their families. Emphasis will be on the ability to select and deliver occupations and activities, preparatory methods and tasks, education and training, and advocacy that support the occupation of the adults and elderly within an environmental and socio-cultural context. The use of assistive technology and adaptive seating will also be included. This course must be passed with a grade of "B" or better to proceed.
Prerequisite
Successful completion of all previous OTD coursework.
Corequisite
Taken concurrently with OTDE 8403 and OTDE 8107.
