Undergraduate English Placement
Undergraduate traditional students without applicable transfer credit will be placed into the appropriate English course based on Next Generation Accuplacer scores administered at time of registration. If ACT or SAT scores are available, they can be considered in addition to the Accuplacer scores. Please see Undergraduate Course Descriptions for individual course descriptions.
EN 006 Introduction to Composition
Next Generation Accuplacer Writing score of 249 or below
ACT English sub-score (or SAT equivalent) of 17 or below
EN 111 English Composition I
Next Generation Accuplacer Writing score between 250-275
ACT English sub-score (or SAT equivalent) of 18 or above
EN 112 English Composition II
Next Generation Accuplacer Writing score of 276 or above
ACT English sub-score (or SAT equivalent) of 24 or above
Undergraduate Mathematics Placement
Undergraduate traditional students without applicable transfer credit will be placed into the appropriate Mathematics course based on Next Generation Accuplacer scores administered at time of registration. - Students may also transfer in the equivalent of MA 115 Intermediate Algebra as a prerequisite with a grade of “C-” or higher
MA 243 Calculus and Analytical Geometry I

- Students may also transfer in the equivalent of MA 205 College Algebra as a prerequisite with a grade of “C-” or higher and must have experience equivalent to MA 211 Trigonometry or Pre-calculus courses in high school and have permission from the course instructor before placement
