MA 205 College Algebra
This course will cover the topics of linear and quadratic equations and inequalities, polynomials, exponents and radicals, fractional expressions, graphs and functions, systems of equations and inequalities, applications.
Prerequisite
A grade of “C” or above in
MA 114 or
MA 115 or
MA 135, or a minimum score 23 on the ACT math exam, or a score above 265 on the Next Generation Accuplacer math placement exam. The prerequisite must have been completed within the last 3 years; otherwise, students must take the Next Generation Accuplacer math placement exam.
