NURS 101D Pathophysiology
A didactic course that builds upon knowledge gained in Anatomy and Physiology courses to introduce and discuss pathophysiology in relation to the nursing process throughout the lifespan. This course content will enable the nursing student to utilize the nursing process and integrate it with background knowledge of disease processes and how they affect their nursing practice, critical thinking, and decision making. This will lead to students being able to provide informed, holistic, primary, secondary and tertiary patient-centered care.
