NSG 640 Healthcare Financial Management
The focus of this course is on the economic and financial factors affecting nursing practice in a complex healthcare environment. Students will learn accounting principles and analysis of financial statements. This course will develop knowledge and skills on healthcare stakeholders, healthcare economics, third-party reimbursement, achieving cost-effectiveness, budget development and evaluation, reimbursement, and financial strategies.
