EBM 655 Supply Chain Management Operations

The course examines supply chain management including sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, technologies, and quantitative models used in managing the supply chain. It exposes students to the buyer-supplier relationship as well as topics related to design and management of supply chains, from incoming raw materials to final product delivery. Course topics include supply chain network design, facility planning, capacity planning, globalization and outsourcing, transportation and key logistical concepts, information technology, and global issues in supply chain management. Prerequisite: None.
