Senior Citizen Waivers
Upon request, residents of Georgia who are 62 years of age or older who are otherwise qualified may attend credit courses at Savannah Technical College on a space available basis. Requests for senior citizen waivers must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office after the start of the semester and during the No Harm No Foul period. Students approved for a senior citizen waiver will be admitted on Special Admit Status, not into a program of study, and are therefore not eligible for financial aid. Senior citizen students requesting to waive tuition charges must pay all mandatory and course specific fees. A senior citizen waiver student may elect to audit courses, but must complete an audit form at the time of registration. For more information, contact the Registrar’s Office.
