SO 200 Introduction to Themes of Leadership for Environmental and Social Justice

A survey course covering a broad range of topics, including: issues of environmental sustainability; inequalities based on race, gender and/or socioeconomic status; the dignity of work and rights to fair compensation; and democracy and human rights issues on a global scale. Emphasis is on non-violent approaches to conflict and the development of solutions to global problems within a framework of equity, peace, and sustainability.
