CR 495 Criminology Senior Experience

This course is a culminating experience for criminology students. The course will focus on current trends and issues in criminology relating to the four values of the institution. Students will experience how all material in their program ties together with the Woods Core and how each individual part of the justice system relies on each other for successful operation. Requisite soft skills, career planning, and job search preparation are taught. Students in this course will be required to complete an internship or research project and do a formal presentation on such. A comprehensive assessment of knowledge and skills is given. This will serve as a summation of coursework. This course is team taught with staff from the Career Services Department.
