MU 532 Culturally Responsive Music Therapy

This course requires students to develop a deep understanding of cultural competence and cultural humility as the building blocks for culturally responsive music therapy practice (CRMTP). Students will engage in work that will challenge them to build self-awareness, develop skills, and identify barriers to CRMTP and ways to overcome those barriers so as to work toward culturally responsivity in their practice.
