ED 369 Emotional and Social Development in Early Childhood

This course is designed to provide students with the understanding and strategies to support the development of young children's emotional and social development. Emphasis will be on helping young children self-regulate and manage their behavior and understand the impact of their behavior on the social world. The effects of emotionality and social skills on learning is discussed as well as the strong interface with families.
