CR 333 Advanced Investigations

This course presents the process of collection and analysis of physical evidence and developments in crime scene techniques. This course is designed to train and prepare participants to become skilled in the recognition, discovery, processing, preservation, collection, and transmission of physical evidence found at the scene of the crime. Course includes photography, sketching, fingerprinting, marking, chain of custody, collection methods, sources of physical evidence, transmission to the laboratory, and some basic forensic analysis. Students must have completed CR 330 and it is suggested that their Woods Core Natural Science requirement be completed prior to taking this course.
