LC 112 College Success and Beyond

The purpose of this course is to engage students in creating and promoting their own success in their first semester at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. The course is designed to help students adjust to the college setting, self-assess and make good decisions, examine opportunities for personal growth and embrace the attitudes and behaviors which will ultimately lead to their academic good standing at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Content will include motivation, goal-setting, time management, study strategies to include reading, note-taking, test-taking, writing, public speaking, and critical thinking, healthy living, money management, stress management, and research strategies.
