HW 215 Fitness Theory and Practice

Fundamental principles of physical fitness are utilized to provide fitness programs for individuals and groups. Skills are developed to assess personal fitness levels and to design pre- and post-intervention strategies. Techniques will be developed for improving cardiovascular circulation, flexibility, increased muscular strength, endurance training, and fitness adaptions for identified populations. (Two hours of didactic lecture and one two hour fitness lab per week).
