FR 372 Francophone Culture and Civilization

From a cross-cultural perspective, students conduct a study of the history and cultures of French-speaking areas in the world from colonialism to the modern day. A variety of materials including video, slides, music and poetry are used. Francophone areas to be covered include Canada, the United States, Africa and the Caribbean. Taught in English.
