Federal Supplemental Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

This is a need based grant and is awarded to undergraduate students with the highest need and receiving a Pell grant. Students with the highest need (zero EFC) will receive the award first and if there are remaining funds those will be disbursed to students with an EFC greater than zero and are federal Pell recipients.

SMWC is awarded FSEOG funds annually by the Department. A financial aid staff member will process monthly reconciliations to ensure disbursements match the student ledger. The staff member will complete the FISAP annually to report FSEOG funds.
