AR 526 Social and Cultural Issues in Art Therapy and Counseling
Cultural and social issues provide students with the opportunity to understand the
relevance of cultural competence and reflective thinking regarding the therapist’s attitudes and beliefs, knowledge, and skills. The course will be grounded within the domains of personal values, biases, and assumptions; client’s worldviews; and developing and/or implementing appropriate interventions, strategies, and techniques.
