The purpose of this addendum is to indicate where Red Rocks Community College has amended current information or added additional information to the college catalog. The information published herein is effective for the Summer 2024, Fall 2024, and Spring 2025 semesters. If any of these changes impact your ability to graduate, please contact the dean for your area of study.

Tuition Rates and Fees Section:
Tuition rates are set annually by the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education each fall. For current tuition rates, please check the website: www.rrcc.edu/tuition.
Student Rights and Responsibilities Section:
Firearms on Campus
• Effective Summer 2024: The notice for carrying of firearms on Red Rocks campuses has been updated.
State Law (Senate Bill 24-131) carrying of firearms on Red Rocks campuses.
As of July 1, 2024, state law will prohibit carrying firearms on college campuses, including all RRCC buildings and campus grounds, unless a limited exception applies. This ban applies to all individuals, including students, employees, guests, and visitors, including those who hold a valid permit for concealed carry.
Where Firearms Are Permitted
Individuals who carry a firearm in accordance with a valid concealed carry permit may only carry firearms in parking areas. Instructors associated with the Law Enforcement Police Academy will be permitted to conceal carry and use firearms for approved educational purposes, subject to the rules and protocols of the program. The law continues to permit RRCC police and authorized security personnel to carry and use firearms on campus.
What You Can Do
To comply with the new law, students, employees, guests, and visitors should leave firearms at home or keep them properly secured in their vehicles while on campus. Firearms stored in vehicles must be appropriately locked and out of plain view as required by law, including House Bill 24-1348. • Effective Summer 2024: The Computer Science: Software Development AAS degree has been removed from the catalog.
• Effective Summer 2024: The Mathematics AS DWD degree has been updated.
• Effective Summer 2024: The Art History AA DWD degree has been removed from the catalog.
• Effective Summer 2024: The Power Equipment and Powersports Vehicle Technology Program has been removed from the catalog.
