ISAT 1120 Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems
This course introduces students to fluid power components, principles, and applications as they relate to smart
manufacturing. Technical documentation will be used to identify and design complex systems. Students will learn the
integration of sensors in hydraulic and/or pneumatic automated solution(s). In addition to hands-on activities, students
will utilize simulation and theoretical approaches to diagnose, solve, and design systems that are utilized in todays
manufacturing. These activities will prepare students for SACA C-255, Certified Industry 4.0 Hydraulic Systems I
certification exam, and SACA C-304: Pneumatic Troubleshooting 1 certification exam.
