HCA 3200 HEALTH ADMINISTRATION I: HEALTH CARE LAW & MODELS OF HEALTH CARE ORGANIZATION

This course covers the basic structures of public and private organizations that provide health care and related services, including institutions that provide inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic and therapeutic services, laboratory services, and nursing care. Particular attention will be given to the interface between these organizations and health care law. Student will become familiar with the health care laws and regulations and with diverse organizational models of health care institutions.
