ITA 3050 Reading and Writing Italian

This course is designed for intermediate students of Italian who want to further advance their knowledge of the language and culture by acquiring high level reading and writing skills. Students are exposed to a variety of materials ranging from articles and essay to fiction, poetry, and drama. Particular emphasis is put on practicing reading and writing as a process and a means of developing critical thinking. Textual analysis, accompanied by a review of grammar and of complex linguistic structures, is an integral part of the study.
