FIN 2500 Principles of Finance

This course serves as an overview of finance which includes: the instruments and operation of the money and capital markets, the role of financial intermediaries and the Federal Reserve, the importance of interest rates, time value of money and security valuation. The concept and calculation of risk and return and the risk/return tradeoff are also introduced.
