ENG 1170 Essentials in American Studies: Interrogating the America(N)

This course focuses on the methods and concerns of American studies. Students will be exposed to the interdisciplinary study of literature and other cultural texts that directly or indirectly address the question of what "America" means and what it means to be an "American" in the United States and across the globe.
