Grading Policy and Repeats in the CMHC Program

A grade of "B-" is the lowest acceptable grade toward degree requirements in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. The following rules apply:
  • A course in which the student receives a grade below “B-” in the Clinical Mental Health Program may be repeated once
  • Students may repeat a maximum of two courses, once each
  • Students may request remediation for a maximum of two courses, once each. Students may remediate to a maximum of a “B-"

Students must complete and pass their CMHC e-portfolio. Student e-portfolios include all Key Assignments completed throughout the program, the CPCE, and the Thesis Presentation. Students must pass all aspects of the e-portfolio to complete their degree.
