SWK 3710 Social Entrepeneurship Encounter

(also BUS 3710; formerly BUS/SWK 371)

An experiential course in social entrepreneurship. Students will explore the concept of social entrepreneurship, including models of corporate social responsibility and grass roots ventures developed to meet community needs. Students will shadow social entrepreneurs and work together in teams to develop strategic business plans for their own ventures. Proposals will be presented to the class.
