Writing-Intensive Course
This course examines the use of computer-based information systems in large, typically global corporations, to support the information needs of all levels of the organization. Students learn about the hardware and application software architecture, the organization issues, the system development processes and the decision support tools used in industry. The role of Information Technology in the corporation's strategic plans and in providing a competitive advantage is studied.
