Energy Systems Studies Minor
The Minor in Energy Systems Studies provides students with fundamental knowledge of energy systems and prepare them for entry-level positions in sectors of the energy industry, graduate school, government service, and life-long learning and professional development.
The Educational Objectives of the Minor in Energy Systems Studies are:
- To provide students with the social, economic and technical knowledge needed to make informed energy system decisions for both renewable and non-renewable sources.
- To provide students with a practical experience assessing energy systems including sources, generation, transmission, resource utilization and environmental impact.
- To provide students with an understanding of environmental and sustainability issues related to global energy systems.
