SPAN 491 Spanish Capstone Project
As an integrative experience in the last year of the Spanish major, the capstone gives senior students the opportunity to bring together the skills acquired over their course of studies. Under the supervision and with the collaboration of a faculty member of the Spanish program, Spanish majors engage in an independent research project that integrates their knowledge of Spanish language and cultures and their own interests. The capstone course will culminate in a project that demonstrates proficiency in Spanish and competency in cultures of the Spanish-speaking world as well as an oral presentation in Spanish.
