CHEM 424 Biochemistry II
Study of advanced topics in biochemistry including cell signaling, bioenergetics, metabolism, biochemical reactions and mechanisms, and regulation of metabolic pathways. Emphasis on enzymatic reaction mechanisms including use of coenzymes and cofactors. Teaching through scientific journal articles, problem-based learning and other projects will take place in the classroom.
