Courses in music provide opportunities for the study and performance of music for all students, regardless of their major or field of interest. The programs in the music department are designed to provide a thorough foundation in music within a liberal arts context and may serve as preparation for graduate study.

Students pursuing any major offered by the Department of Music must achieve a grade of C or better in all required MUSC, MUTH, and/or MUED courses.
