EDUC 151 AYA Field Experience I
Planned program of study in a grade 7-12 classroom to develop a knowledge and understanding of professional education. Students spend 45 hours working with experienced, licensed cooperating teachers in a local school. Activities include: work with small groups or individual students; observe classroom procedures; interact with classroom teachers, community resources, parents/families; teach mini lessons; perform non-instructional duties; use electronic media and technology; and investigate the role of the classroom teacher.
