ELE 203 CM 2 - Literacy I
This module integrates the acquisition of background knowledge of strategic literacy instruction with research-based methods of student behavior and classroom management. Preservice teachers will plan and implement strategic approaches toward improving diverse K-12 students' literacy and content area knowledge within activities and lessons. Additionally, the module focuses on selection of materials for teaching language arts and communication skills. Classroom management strategies are integrated for enhancing preservice teachers' effectiveness. This module is designed, in part, to fulfill requirements mandated by Florida Legislature and the Reading Endorsement (July, 2002 Source).
