AVS 305 Space Science - Elective

A study of the history of space exploration since1946, the current civil uses in space and selected unclassified military uses. The student will understand the principles of construction of space vehicles, their various propulsive systems, orbital and interplanetary path calculations, human space travel dynamics, and future space systems programmed for the near term and longer. Pre-requisite: MATH 110, MATH 112, MATH 114, MATH 189 or MATH 140
