A study of Spanish or Spanish-American writers, periods, genres, or themes. Possible topics are the Novel of Violence in Latin America, the post-Civil War novel in Spain, Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz, the Chronicles of the Conquest, or the Chilean novel of the Allende years.
