MSC 397 Departmental Honors
In consultation with a supervisory committeecomposed of three faculty members, students willdevelop a research plan to explore a uniquebiological or marine phenomenon. Appropriateactivities include, but are not limited to, datacollection, data analysis andmanuscript/presentation preparation. Students areexpected to work 45 hours per credit hour persemester. Graded outcomes must include both aformal scientific paper and presentation.Departmental and College paperwork must becompleted prior to registration and awarding ofcredit.
