ME 412 Linear Control

This course explores the modeling of lineardynamic systems via differential equations andtransfer functions utilizing state spacerepresentations and classical input-outputrepresentations; the analysis of systems in thetime and frequency domains; study of closed-loopsystems; state-space methods and the classicalstability tests, such as the Routh-Hurwitzcriterion, Nyquist criterion, root-locus plotsand Bode plots. Studies compensation designthrough lead and lag networks, rate feedback, andlinear state-variable feedback
