HIST 189 Core Seminar in History
The course introduces students to basic researchprinciples and methods appropriate to thediscipline. All seminar courses include researchassignments appropriate to the 100 level.Seminars also emphasize discipline-appropriatecommunication skills, including writing, oralpresentation, and/or artistic expression.Seminars may be cross-listed to promoteinter-disciplinary studies.
