ENV 101 Intro to Environmental Studies
A multidisciplinary introductory course requiredof all entering students majoring in environmentalstudies. Topics covered will prepare students forclasses in biology, chemistry, geography, andmarine science. Course examines the importantconcepts and topics in environmental studies.Invited lectures will add expertise andperspective of many disciplines. Students willread papers on current issues, conduct searches ofthe primary literature, and search World Wide Websources to enhance their understanding of specialtopics. They will learn through exploration thediversity of public regulatory and privateorganizations active in the field.
