The focus of the course is advanced nursing practice in mental health across the lifespan. Emphasis is on assessment, diagnosis, management and evaluation of mental health issues. The course includes assessment, management and evaluation of emergent mental health care and crisis intervention. The student has the opportunity to apply the course concepts in clinidal practice.
