NURS 1232 Practice of Adult Care I
Application of the nursing process in the safe and effective care of adults with acute and chronic health dysfunctions. Integration of communication skills, care management and evidence-based practice. Utilization of ethical- legal aspects, diversity, equity and inclusion in person-centered care and interprofessional collaboration. Emphasis on managing dysfunctions in functional health patterns: health perception-management, nutritional-metabolic and elimination. Requires a total of 90 hours of supervised practice in various scenarios.
