READ 6304 The Brain and Literacy
A critical exploration of the structure and processes of the human brain, the role of these processes in literacy and learning, and the implications of brain research for educators.Emphasis will include the role of emotion in motivation and learning, enviornmental factors, brain disorders, and brain-based classroom applications.
