PHYT 7164 Professional Development Elective
Professional Development Elective: designed to provide students with an opportunity to pursue some advanced clinical, teaching, research, or service activity that will enhance his/her professional development. Students will be assigned to a faculty advisor who will assist them in designing a learning experience which may include some type of continuing education course, practice specialization, involvement in a mentored research project or teaching experience,participation in a mission project or other pro bono service activity, involvement in a professional service/leadership activity (state or national level), and so forth. In most cases, a reflective paper will be submitted to assess the student's learning experience. (1 credit hour)
