CSCI 6322 Computer Information Systems
Terminology and use of computers in organizations. Topics include hardware and software technology, business data processing, distributed processing and networking, management information systems, database management systems,decision support systems, expert systems, and office information systems. An examination of the societal and legal aspects of computing and emerging information technologies. Major software packages for business will be presented and used selectively. Work in the computer lab required.
