CRIJ 5370 Cultural Intelligence
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the theory and application of Cultural Intelligence (CQ). This course will provide students the opportunity to examine the theoretical foundations of CQ, unconscious biases, intercultural competence, and Hofstede’s country culture dimensions. Other learning opportunities in this course will allow students to identify contexts in which to apply CQ and to develop plans for their own cultural intelligence development.
