CMHC 6365 Counseling the Aging Adult
Counseling the Aging Adult - This course focuses on addressing in a clinical setting the various physical, social, spiritual and/or psychological issues that often arise in the aging process.Specific attention will be given to providing students with knowledge regarding the normal aging process using both bio-psycho-social-spiritual model. Students will develop clinical skills needed to assess and treat the most common emotional, cognitive and behavioral disorders that present the aging adult.
