SOCI 4380 Sociological Theory
(3-3-0) A survey of classical and contemporary sociological theories, with special emphasis on important intellectual movements and keyindividuals in bot European and Americansociology. This course is designed to enhancestudent's theoretical and critical thinking skills, as well as to expose them to some of the main structural, philosophical, and thematic issues important to the field of sociology.
