SOCI 3312 Statistical Methods

(See also MATH 3312) Descriptive and inferential statistics for students in education, social science, and natural science as well as in mathematics. Topics to be discussed will include measures of central tendencies, probability, estimations and predictions, variance and correlation. May be counted toward a mathematics major or minor only by students seeking teacher certification in mathematics or by students who are minoring in mathematics on the BBS degree. This course does not fulfill the foundationalcurriculum mathematics requirement. Students must have a TI-30 (or equivalent) calculator.
