MUTC 1331 Fundamentals of Music
A practical approach to the fundamentals of music designed to familiarize students with the meaning of music notation and with the harmonic,melodic, and rhythmic structure of music through writing, singing, and playing piano. Students must maintaina regular practice schedule. Some emphasis isplaced on "pop" and folk music. The course may be counted as a core course in the humanities block or as an elective.
