GEOL 3311 Geospatial Technology

This is an applied technology and field course that introduces the student to mapping techniques using Global Positioning Satellite (GPS)equipment, Geographic Information Science (GIS) software, traditional survey methods, geological map production, aerial photography interpretation, and report writing. This course fulfills the university technology competencyrequirement.
