EDUC 4601 Interdisc Strat Grades EC-6
This course is designed to present instructional strategies for interdisciplinary studies, with emphasis on social studies methods. The TexasEssential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), pedagogy, selection of curricular goals and objectives, and assessment of learning will be examined.Attention will be given to designing coherent, relevant and meaningful instruction while learning to continually monitor instructionaleffectiveness. This course should be taken the semester before student teaching or withinstructor permission. Students will complete 6 hours field experience.
